Ballyheigue Sewerage Scheme

Description: This Project consisted of the construction of 13kms of foul & storm drainage ranging from 225mm to 1200mm along with 3kms of a rising main delivery system from 3 pumping stations to a full treatment plant including all aspects of treatment through to final UV treated effluent to a sea outfall and sludge drying facility.
Fenit Harbour Marine Works Contract
Location: Fenit, Co. Kerry
Description: Marine Western breakwater works including the excavation of rock seating for base, installation and placing of rock armour, filling of core material, placing of textile grid and capping with clause 804 material. Restoration and remedial works including the installation of HDPE watermain and services along the viaduct and bridges and encasing same in concrete while maintaining traffic flow.

Description: This project involved the construction of 12kms of storm and foul drainage, 3 pumping stations and a full treatment plant including an outfall. This project also incorporated town centre road and footpath upgrades.
Templenoe Marina & Castle Civil Works

Description: A prestigious private development which involved extensive civil works for the development of a castle along with a marina and pier. This project was particularly intricate as it involved major rock extraction adjacent to an old protected castle which was being retained as part of a larger development. t also required the excavation and construction of a deep water berth and breakwater opening onto Kenmare Bay.

Description: Construction of a 4 turbine wind farm.
Client: This project was carried out was in the perimeter environs of Killarney to provide a foul sewer connection to facilitate housing developments in and around Killarney, Co. Kerry. Pipe sizes varied from 225mm to 600mm and 11kms were laid. An 8 meter deep pumping station was constructed adjacent to the treatment plant in the National Park. This project also included the construction of a sludge pasteurising facility within the treatment plant to treat the separated sludge.

Sneem Sewerage Scheme
Contract: Sneem Sewerage Scheme.
Location: Sneem, Co. Kerry.
Description: This privately developed scheme provided a full treatment system for the Village of Sneem and incorporated the laying of 5kms of storm and foul drainage ranging from 225mm to 750mm and included a deep river crossing between a balancing chamber and a deep pumping station. A fully treated effluent marine outfall was constructed to discharge the final product.
