Mallow General Hospital

Datum BCE completed a major project for ESS Modular at Mallow General Hospital in Co. Cork in October 2023. The project involved constructing a four-storey over basement, 48-bed modular ward extension. Positioned directly in front of the hospital’s main entrance and over the existing bus and set-down areas, the new building was seamlessly integrated into the existing hospital. Working within a live hospital environment and near critical services, Datum BCE developed site procedures and phasing plans to ensure uninterrupted medical care throughout the construction process.
